Deputy Health Minister attends Ebola Partners Forum at IFRC Secretariat, Geneva

Freetown, Jan 27, 2015 (MOHS)- The Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation ll (two),  Madam Madina Rahman will be representing Sierra Leone at the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) Ebola Partners Forum schedule to take place at the IFRC Secretariat in Geneva on Wednesday January 28, 2015.

The forum will bring together the IFRC and Red Crescent Societies (RCS)) Member National Societies involved in responding to the Ebola outbreak, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The Forum will also attract representatives of governments of Guinea, Liberia, other countries, and key operational partners such as the UN, NGOS and other multi institutions.

Highlights of the Forum include situation Analysis, Review Lessons Learned to date, and initiate dialogue around long-term recovery, latest Epidemiological and scenarios for the incoming months, current situation and future outlook on humanitarian consequences of the Ebola Epidemic, Global Anti-stigma campaign, and statements by Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation, Madam, Madina Rahman and her colleagues from Guinea and Liberia.
